E12b: Organotellurium Compounds

Editor:
D. Klamann, Hamburg, Germany

As the first volume of the Houben-Weyl series to be published in English as a move to increase its international character, volume E12b extensively surveys the special nature of tellurium compounds.

The compounds are divided into ten different classes covering organo-compounds with no C-Te bond, with a C-Te bond, with two C-Te single bonds, with one C=Te double bond, and so on, followed by polymeric organotellurium compounds and, thereafter, tellurium heteroarenes. Each is divided into a preparation and transformation section, both including detailed experimental procedures, to give the reader a systematic overview of organotellurium chemistry.
