As a result of Thieme Publishers' continuing drive to provide better and more user-friendly products to their customers, the original ethos of the Houben–Weyl series has been adapted to create Science of Synthesis, the standard reference work for the 21st century. Science of Synthesis offers the user with the most up-to-date information, and is edited by many of the world’s leading chemists. The electronic version of Science of Synthesis operates synergistically with the newly released electronic version of Houben–Weyl. The electronic version of Houben–Weyl provides the user with:
The electronic product can also be searched using the Houben–Weyl Guide that presents families of molecules and functional groups in graphical form. By simply clicking on the structures the researcher is taken directly to the relevant articles. This allows researchers to screen the content rapidly and in a manner that is both intuitive and familiar. |
